Report: West Ham given chance to offload £13m man, Moyes questions player’s work ethic
Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare is interested in buying Felipe Anderson from West Ham United, according to .
Anderson faces an uncertain future at the London Stadium once the winger returns from his disastrous loan spell with Porto. The Brazilian started just appearances for the Liga NOS giants in all competitions under Sergio Conceicao.
He failed to score and only offered one assist across his outings, to now leave West Ham considering Anderson’s future. The list the Brazilian among the fringe players likely to be sold this summer along with Andriy Yarmolenko.

David Moyes also questions Anderson’s work ethic, per , while claim West Ham will demand €15million (£13m) to sell their former club-record signing. The Hammers paid Lazio £36m () in 2018 to make him Manuel Pellegrini’s seventh signing in charge.
Anderson will now enter the final 12-months of his , four-year contract this summer. And a return to Lazio could emerge, with Tare identifying him as an option to improve Maurizio Sarri’s first squad at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio as the club’s new manager last week to replace Simone Inzaghi after he joined Inter Milan. Anderson spent five years in Rome, where he featured and offered 34 goals plus 39 assists before joining West Ham.
TBR’s view: West Ham given chance to offload Anderson
Anderson could have suitors outside of Italy, but Lazio would offer West Ham their best chance at selling the Brazilian. His future is clearly not at the London Stadium after failing to establish himself with Porto, and Moyes has concerns over his attitude.
But a move to Lazio would see Anderson return to a club he knows well and performed well for. The club’s Sporting Director, Tare, still views him favourably, as well, despite the winger’s issues away from the Stadio Olimpico.
West Ham now need Sarri to share that appreciation of Anderson to give Tare permission to pursue a deal. Then Moyes will be free of someone he no longer wants and raises funds he can put to better use.
