Report: West Ham expected to make fresh Youssef En-Nesyri bid

West Ham are expected to make a fresh bid to sign Youssef En-Nesyri before the transfer window closes, .

The Hammers are yet to add to their striker ranks this month after selling Sebastien Haller. And it appeared that David Moyes may be content with no additions in that area of the pitch anyway.

that the Irons may decide to not sign a striker as they pursue a loan deal for Jesse Lingard. However, another report has suggested a different stance.

that a fresh move for En-Nesyri is expected before the deadline.

The links with En-Nesyri had seemingly gone a little quiet in recent days. So it may surprise some that West Ham are planning to make another move for the 23-year-old.

that the Irons were preparing a bid worth up to £32 million. It was suggested that the offer would include a £25 million fee plus up to £7 million in add-ons.

The report claimed that the bid would likely be rejected. Sevilla want £35 million for En-Nesyri. So it would appear that West Ham may be about to get a little closer to that price if they decide to improve upon that previous bid.

It would be a huge statement if West Ham did make an improved offer. En-Nesyri has 12 goals in 19 La Liga games this term, despite only starting 12 times.

However, fans would be forgiven for feeling pessimistic. No team has really pushed the boat in this window. And while there may be a flurry of late activity from elsewhere, West Ham are not under pressure to go big.

It would be fantastic for Moyes if a move did go through. But you could understand if the supporters were not getting carried away with the links with a fresh bid at this stage.
