Report: West Ham attacker Felipe Anderson to join Porto on loan on Tuesday

West Ham attacker Felipe Anderson is reportedly on the verge of complete a loan move away from the London Stadium.

, the 27-year-old is expected to join Portuguese giants Porto today (Tuesday) on a season-long loan deal.

The transfer window in Portugal does not shut until 25 October, which is why they are about to sign the Hammers player.

It is claimed that Porto need to wrap up the deal imminently though so that they can include him in their European squad for the Champions League campaign.

TBR’s View:

West Ham signed Anderson two years ago for £35million () from Lazio and it’s been an underwhelming time in English football for him.

The Brazilian left-winger is an extremely skilful player that is a great dribbler and has an eye for goal, but he’s massively struggled for consistency and as a result the club are set to sanction his departure.

Anderson, 27, is currently out of favour with manager David Moyes, which is why his loan exit won’t be a huge surprise.

But the speedster has scored one goals and supplied two assists in the Carabao Cup this season when given the chance to shine, while in the Premier League he’s not started a match.

If Anderson does leave, West Ham are still left with the likes of Pablo Fornals, Jarrod Bowen, Andriy Yarmolenko and Robert Snodgrass in wide areas.
