Report: West Ham accept £12m offer from West Brom for Grady Diangana

West Ham have reportedly decided to accept an offer from newly-promoted Premier League side West Brom for Grady Diangana.

The 22-year-old spent the whole of last season out on loan with the Baggies and he could now be set to return to the Hawthorns on a permanent basis, as their manager Slaven Bilic looks to re-sign him.

, West Brom have made a £12million bid for the left-footed attacker and that has been accepted by his parent club West Ham.

It is claimed that Midlands outfit West Brom are now seeking to conclude a deal this summer and the offer is an initial £12million which could rise “significantly” with add-ons.

Diangana is a highly-rated product to come out of the West Ham academy and he’s played 21 first-team games for them, but his real senior breakthrough came last season when he helped West Brom earn promotion from the Championship.

The English winger played 31 games across all competitions for them, scoring eight goals and supplying seven assists in return.

TBR’s View – Selling Diangana a mistake

Diangana showed last season with West Brom that he’s a rising talent with so much potential and he deserves an opportunity to shine in the Premier League, which is something West Ham should be giving him in the upcoming campaign.

But offloading the speedster for a £12million transfer fee looks a big mistake, as he could end up being worth much more in a years time and it’s also missing the opportunity to have another academy graduate shining in their team.

David Moyes’ team needs some extra creativity in forward areas in the new season and they could be about to gift one to a Premier League rival.
