Report: West Brom make Cedric Kipre enquiry that may upset Blackburn
West Bromwich Albion have made what may be something of a last-ditch attempt to land Cedric Kipre, that the Baggies have made an enquiry while the defender was discussing a potential move to Blackburn Rovers.
Slaven Bilic’s men have made a quiet start to the window. The newly-promoted side have so far only completed a permanent move for Matheus Pereira. But it appears that they are now stepping up their plans.

For just £900,000, it is difficult to argue that signing Kipre would not be a very good piece of business. However, the Baggies surely need more in that area of the pitch before the season starts.
They arguably have a number of good central defenders. Semi Ajayi was an inspired signing ahead of last season.
And adding Kipre to those options would be smart. But you could understand if some supporters wanted further additions at centre-back before the deadline passes.
