Report: West Brom and new PL side join Aston Villa in race for £18m playmaker
that Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United are all interested in signing Blackburn Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack this summer.
Dack, 25, shone for Blackburn in the Championship last season, finding the back of the net 18 times despite playing in the number 10 role. The pocket-sized attacker also laid on 10 assists for Tony Mowbray’s side.
The former Gillingham ace was constantly linked with a move to a bigger Championship club, or indeed the Premier League throughout 2018-19. that West Ham and Crystal Palace wanted him.
But that report put the Hammers and the Eagles off, with Blackburn quoting interested parties £18million for his signature. Dack has two years remaining on his current deal at Ewood Park.

Dack is also interesting Brighton & Hove Albion, and is said to be keen on a move away from Blackburn to a Premier League side – or one that is challenging at the top of the Championship.
TBR’s view
Dack has shown that he can handle the step up from a lower league after promotion, starring for Gillingham in League One before doing the same at Blackburn.
His 18 goals and 10 assists is more than worthy of a crack in the Premier League. Players have worse stats in England’s second tier and gone on to be a success in the top tier of English football.
Aston Villa may struggle to find a place in the starting line-up for Dack, with Grealish a better alternative. But for Sheffield United and Brighton, he would be an excellent.
