Report: Villa and Leeds discover price tag for 11-goal target; PL signing has inflated the fee
West Brom have put a £30m price tag on Aston Villa and Leeds United target Matheus Pereira.
, the Baggies are yet to receive any official offer for Pereira. However, the likes of Villa and Leeds, as well as Crystal Palace and West Ham, are aware that West Brom value the forward at £30m.
As per the report, the fee was originally lower. But Villa’s club-record signing of Championship star Emi Buendia earlier in the window has seemingly inflated West Brom’s valuation of Pereira.

The 25-year-old Baggies star was one of the standout players in the Premier League last campaign.
Pereira hit 11 goals in total for West Brom. But it was not enough to save the Birmingham-based club from relegation.
Indeed, it is likely that Pereira will secure a move back to the Premier League this summer. However, as per the report, the attacker is also attracting interest from Germany.

With the former Sporting Lisbon star eager to move, it will be an interesting battle to see who signs Pereira.
Leeds and Villa have been hotly linked with Pereira for most of the summer. But with Dean Smith’s side already signing Buendia, the Yorkshire giants could have the advantage in the race for the winger, who could flourish under Marcelo Bielsa.
