Report: Unnamed PL side table £10.75m offer, Tottenham interested
that an unnamed Premier League side have tabled an offer worth £10.75million for Real Betis striker Loren Moron – with Tottenham and Sheffield United keeping tabs.
Spanish striker Moron, 26, impressed in patches last season – scoring 10 La Liga goals in 36 league appearances. Those stats are much better when considering he only completed 90 minutes nine times, coming off the bench in 15.
Spurs are likely to want a striker as back-up for Harry Kane while Chris Wilder could be looking for added fire power to rival Billy Sharp, Oli McBurnie, Lys Mousset and David McGoldrick. Now, a bid has been tabled.
But the report does not state where that bid has come from. He has a release clause of £45million but Betis will accept less than half of that – in the region of £16million and £18million. Spurs and Sheffield United are interested.

TBR’s view – Moron ideal for Tottenham
Spurs have needed a striker that is of top quality but is likely to be happy as a back-up striker to Kane. Moron is good enough to score goals for Spurs, but he would surely be content with the odd cup game and substitute appearance.
Sheffield United have plenty of options up front but they do not have European football to offer Moron. Though some negotiating needs to be done given the initial £10.75m offer and his asking price, Moron could boost Spurs.
