Report: Tottenham’s Troy Parrott wanted by Charlton on loan
Charlton Athletic are plotting a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Troy Parrott on loan for the rest of the season, .
Parrott has established himself as one of the most exciting talents coming through at Spurs right now.

The 17-year-old has made two appearances for the first-team this season, with his Premier League debut coming in the 5-0 win over Burnley in early December.
And he may have perhaps been hoping to benefit from Harry Kane sustaining a serious injury. But it appears that he could actually be given the green light to leave on loan before the window shuts.

that the Addicks want the teenager on loan for the rest of the campaign.
While Spurs’ stance on Parrott’s future is unclear, the report does note that he is unlikely to feature too often should he stay.
TBR View – Could previous Mourinho comments hint move may be unlikely?
For some Tottenham fans, a loan move to The Valley will probably make a lot of sense.
Parrott can potentially play regularly at a good standard having already showed that he can be lethal at youth level.
However, for Parrott to secure a move away, it appears that Mourinho may need to experience a change of heart.
At the start of the month, Mourinho suggested, , that it is not good for a 17-year-old to join a Championship club on loan as he discussed Parrott’s immediate future.
So it will be interesting to see whether the Tottenham boss’ stance has changed.
In fairness, Parrott – who does turn 18 next month – is an international with a little Premier League experience. So he is much further in his development than a lot of players his age.
And if he is not going to play for Spurs much over the coming months, he may be tempted to ask Mourinho to let him join Lee Bowyer’s men until the summer.
