that Tottenham Under-23 trio Jack Clarke, Dilan Markanday and Brooklyn Lyons-Foster have not travelled to Slovenia.

Tottenham take on Slovenian side Mura on Thursday, with a win needed to secure qualification into the knockout stages of the Conference League.

On Wednesday afternoon, U23 trio Clarke, Lyons-Foster and Markanday were all spotted in senior training. The trio are impressing in the reserves.

Clarke has had a hand in six goals in 14 Under-23 games. Markanday laid on three assists in a 4-1 win over Leicester on Monday, and has 10 goals.

Despite beating Mura 5-1 at home, Conte has taken a strong squad – even leaving Steven Bergwijn at home. Now, Football London have an update.

They say that despite £10m () Clarke, Markanday and Lyons-Foster training on Wednesday – they have not travelled to Slovenia with the squad.

Should Tottenham youngsters Clarke, Lyons-Foster, Markanday feel hard done by?

Markanday should. His form has been incredible for the 23’s. Goals aplenty, assists, and the attacking versatility that allows him play out wide or up top.

Lyons-Foster has been solid, but he will know that Spurs boast plenty of options at centre-back. Clarke has been a bit hit and miss this season.

But against the weakest side in their Europa League group, Markanday – more than most – will have been thinking he might get a chance.
