Report: Tottenham told they need to pay £32 million to sign Wout Weghorst
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been informed it would take an offer of at least €35 million/£32 million to sign striker Wout Weghorst.
The Dutch star has become linked with Spurs in recent days, with Jose Mourinho looking for a backup striker for Harry Kane.

Despite landing Gareth Bale, the Portuguese still intends to get a new out-and-out striker in, with Wolfsburg’s Weghorst supposedly a target.
bring an update on the situation today.
They say the Bundesliga outfit don’t particularly want to lose the 28-year-old, and would dismiss any offers below £32 million.
Should that truly be Wolfsburg’s stance, then it could be that Spurs’ apparent interest in Weghorst will amount to nothing.
TBR’s View – £32 million surely too expensive
Give Spurs are looking for someone to play second fiddle to Kane, the club can’t really be shelling out premium prices.

Weghorst is a great player with a really good goalscoring record of 40 in 82 games for his current club and 45 in 86 for previous club AZ Alkmaar, but £32 million would be a lot to pay for someone who will rarely start games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Unless Daniel Levy can sell a current Spurs fringe player for a large amount, then the club should probably look elsewhere.
