Report: Tottenham still interested in Ousmane Dembele move
Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the clubs who continue to monitor developments concerning Ousmane Dembele as uncertainty over his future persists, .
Dembele has been in absolutely outrageous form of late. In the last five La Liga games, the Frenchman has scored once and provided seven assists for Barcelona.
However, as things stand, Dembele is still set to be a free agent in the summer. In fact, there seemed a real possibility that he could have ended the January transfer window by moving to the Premier League.
Reports claimed that Tottenham turned down the chance to sign Dembele.
Much has changed since then. Barcelona president Juan Laporta is now preparing a fresh contract offer in an attempt to keep the 24-year-old in Catalonia.
that Dembele has a verbal agreement in place with Paris Saint-Germain. And thus, he is not willing to budge from his demands of a deal worth £16.6 million in salary and signing bonus.
But it may not only be Barcelona and PSG in the running. Foot Mercato adds that Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United all want Dembele. And they could look to make a move if he leaves Barca and does not end up at Parc des Princes.

Dembele is a divisive player. For many, it will be alarming that he turns 25 in less than two months. He has largely failed to live up to expectations since his to the Nou Camp.
And clearly, he feels able to demand some eye-watering terms at his next club. Tottenham are surely unlikely to offer the full amount Dembele is apparently looking for.
But he is a player with ‘‘ potential. And he could be about to move without a transfer fee. Spurs therefore, are surely right to put themselves in the mix.
It seems unlikely as he continues to impress with Barcelona, but Tottenham are doing themselves no harm by registering an interest in Dembele.
