Report: Tottenham set to miss out on Mike Maignan, as AC Milan agree £13m fee
has reported that AC Milan are set to complete the signing of Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan this summer, for a bargain fee of £13million – striking a potential blow to Tottenham Hotspur.
Maignan, 25, was set for an intriguing summer but it appears that just days after helping Lille win the Ligue 1 title – he has decided to jump ship. AC Milan have jumped ahead of the queue to bring him to Italy.
The France international was about to enter the last 12 months of his Lille contract – but it appears he will now join Milan for £13million. It is a bargain, given Maignan is a title winner – and has 23 clean sheets this term.
Di Marzio reports the news, stating that Maignan has been brought in to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma – who remains without a contract at Milan. Maignan has travelled to Milan and a medical will go ahead on Tuesday.

TBR’s view – Bargain fee will frustrate Tottenham fans
Maignan has been sensational this season. While the Lille goalkeeper is expected to play second fiddle to Hugo Lloris at this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament, Maignan will eventually replace the Tottenham skipper.
But he should have done so at club level, too. L’Equipe – – claimed in March that Tottenham are interested in Maignan – but a fee was expected to be over £20million. Now, at £13million, Spurs will be frustrated.
