Report: Tottenham reignite transfer interest in Kim Min-jae

There appears to be some renewed interest in South Korean international Kim Min-jae from Tottenham Hotspur at the moment, according to several different sources. 

Tottenham were heavily linked with the Beijing Guoan defender earlier in the summer, with the that the centre-back nicknamed ‘Monster’ was a £15 million target after a public falling out with the Chinese Super League club.

But the trail went cold in July when it was that Kim had apologized to his team-mates and the club and was ready to stay.

Since then, plenty of other teams have been linked with a move for Kim, including Italian side Lazio, who see him as an important footballing and commercial acquisition.

He seems to suggest Tottenham are indeed interested in Kim again and negotiations could be started between the two clubs via an intermediary. Should that have a satisfactory conclusion, then the agent of the player could become involved. 

It is clearly a tough deal to get done but Tottenham must be of the thinking that Kim could be a potential bargain in the Premier League. 

So Tottenham fans might want to keep an eye on the progression of this deal once again.
