Gonzalez would be an interesting addition for Tottenham next season if Paratici makes the Argentine one of his first purchases. The 23-year-old may have endured his issues with injuries last term, but could pull the Stuttgart strings when fit.
Gonzalez is also versatile and copes well under pressure, with coming from penalties last season. He is also acrobatic in his movement, can provide a creative touch to pull defences apart and has a wide range to his passing.
The forward, currently with the Argentina squad for the Copa America, has a real desire about him, as well. This allows Gonzalez to go the extra length on the pitch, while Stuttgart boss Pellegrino Matarazzo claimed via :
“He’s got a lot of qualities, but what I like best about him is that he’s a winner. He wants to win at all costs. He always gives 100 per cent, and gets stuck in.”
