Report: Tottenham reach agreement to make fourth summer signing, they’ve outbid all their rivals

Tottenham Hotspur have now reached an agreement with Metz to sign Pape Sarr, .
Agreement reached
Tottenham are said to have outbid all their rivals and met Metz’s asking price for their top prospect, which stands at £25 million.
Spurs are now discussing whether to loan the youngster back to the Ligue 1 side for the season or put him straight into their squad.
But the deal is all agreed, according to the latest update, with Sarr now looking almost certain to be Tottenham’s next addition.
One for the future
His arrival may not be one to immediately impact on Spurs’ first-team.
Although Sarr has broken through impressively at Metz, it would be a shock if Nuno chucked the 18-year-old into his starting line-up upon arrival.

That could be part of the reason why Spurs see him staying on loan at Metz as an option, as it would allow him to develop with another season of regular football under his belt.
Sarr could, in time, become a brilliant addition to Spurs’ squad though.
He is tipped to be one of the brightest talents in France, and at his age, he has plenty of potential to build on for future years.
If Sarr does join Tottenham he will become their fourth signing of the summer, after the additions of Bryan Gil, Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero.
