Report: Tottenham prepared to pay £22 million for star heavily linked with Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to pay €25 million (£22 million) to sign Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen.
the 2019 Champions League finalists are ready to act on their long-standing interest in the player, after north London rivals Arsenal saw a bid rejected for the player.

The Gunners lodged a £37 million offer for Andersen and his teammate Dennis Praet, but it was swiftly turned down.
Fresh reports have claimed the Gunners will make an improved £44 million offer for the pair, it will be accepted.
That said, should Tottenham really want Andersen, they might have to consider forking out a bit more.
TBR’s view
It would appear Arsenal are currently in the driving seat for Andersen.
The highly rated defender will likely fancy reuniting with former teammate Lucas Torreira at the Emirates along with Praet.

Tottenham have been interested in ball-playing Andersen for a while though and absolutely need a replacement for Toby Alderweireld who has a £25 million release clause.
The promising Dane would be a fantastic addition who could become top-class under Mauricio Pochettino’s management.
