Report: Tottenham open talks with Inter Milan over Alessandro Bastoni
Tottenham Hotspur have now managed to open talks with Inter Milan over a deal for Alessandro Bastoni, according to , with Fabio Paratici keen to get most of their transfer business done before pre-season.
It has been apparent for some time that Tottenham are very keen on the Inter star. In fact, reports have claimed that Antonio Conte has been asking about the 23-year-old every day this summer.
Tottenham believe that they will be able to agree a fee for the £51 million-rated Bastoni. However, the big issue is said to centre around whether the Italy international feels that he is ready to leave Milan.
Nevertheless, Spurs are pressing ahead. Tottenham have opened talks with the Nerazzurri over a deal for Bastoni.
Crucially, it is suggested that Paratici and Conte want most of their business done before pre-season. Of course, they have already signed Ivan Perisic. And Fraser Forster looks set to follow the Croatian through the door imminently.

Of course, Tottenham did not suffer from doing their business late in January. The deadline day arrivals of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski were pivotal in taking Spurs to fourth in the Premier League.
But you can understand why Conte wants as many of his signings in quickly as possible. This could be a massive summer for Spurs. And part of that is being able to mould the squad and make sure they know what he wants next season.
The longer he has to work with them, the more likely it is that Tottenham will hit the ground running.
Perhaps a resolution on Bastoni is not far away. Tottenham will hope a deal is possible. But even if they are unsuccessful, they have plenty of time to turn their attention elsewhere.
