Report: Tottenham offered chance to sign Leicester City player
that Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Leicester City veteran Islam Slimani this summer, after initially being linked with the Algerian in the January transfer window.
Slimani, 32, is surplus to requirements at Leicester but enjoyed a profitable spell at French side Monaco last season – scoring nine goals and creating seven more in just 19 appearances in all competitions.
His form in France was curtailed, though, as the French government decided to suspend football until September. He has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side.
