TBR’s view – Slimani could be a cheap, short-term alternative

Tottenham need a striker and while Slimani is unlikely to be Jose Mourinho’s first-choice when it comes to adding a forward this summer, he could be just what Spurs need – with his confidence restored after a solid season.

that Slimani is earning a whopping £80,000 a week – an expensive contract for a striker that has netted just eight goals in 39 Premier League games. But his strength and aerial ability makes him the ideal plan B.
