Report: Tottenham now want to sign ‘great’ £55m attacker who’s been compared to Mo Salah
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights a move for Leeds United star Raphinha this summer.
Spurs have hit the ground running in the summer transfer window, signing both Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
Tottenham are reportedly closing in on Yves Bissouma and seemingly making good progress for Djed Spence too.
Now, claim that Spurs have joined the race to sign one of the most sought-after players of the summer.
Arsenal have been linked with Raphinha over the past few weeks, but now Tottenham are apparently in pursuit too.
The Brazil international has proven himself to be one of the most exciting attacking talents in the Premier League.

Last season, he scored 11 goals contributed three assists from 35 top-flight appearances.
However, his future at Elland Road remains uncertain.
And Leeds are reportedly open to selling Raphinha providing their valuation of the player is met.
Barcelona were initially viewed as the likeliest club to sign Raphinha.
However, Leeds’ purported £55million valuation of the 25-year-old means Barca may struggle to sign him.
Indeed, The Athletic claims there are growing concerns over whether or not the La Liga side can fund a deal.
Barca reportedly have debts of more than £1billion and strict controls on their recruitment and expenditure.
And this has opened the door for Tottenham – or indeed Arsenal – to make a move.
Could Spurs land their own Salah?
Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood recently urged Spurs to make a move for Raphinha.
“I’m not exaggerating to say he could play anywhere in the Premier League,” he told Optus Sport, via .
“There is not a team he wouldn’t fit.
“It depends how regularly he wants to play, and Leeds’ ambition.
“He is only going to be a lot of money to buy, but it is worth it.
“He has shown that he can play in the Premier League, a low-risk signing.
“I’d like to have him at Tottenham, I think he’d be a great player at Tottenham.”
And Alan Curbishley one of Raphinha’s goals last season – against Norwich in November – was “Salah-like”.
Indeed, the Leeds star admitted in April that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was one of his inspirations.
“Over time and playing against players you get that experience and contact with them on the pitch you build an admiration for them,” Raphinha told .
“I’d say that Mohamed Salah is one of those for the way that he plays, others as well.”
