Report: Tottenham now offered Marco Asensio by his agents
Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the first group of clubs to have been contacted by the agents of Marco Asensio, that Real Madrid are likely to sell the 26-year-old this summer.
Asensio has made 26 La Liga appearances for Los Blancos this term, with 15 starts. However, his contract situation has prompted Real to gear up to sell him at the end of the campaign.
His contract expires in 2023. And he has not agreed fresh terms. that Madrid will cash in, provided that they receive an offer of over £30 million.
And there is a chance that he could end up in the Premier League. His agents have made contact with Tottenham, according to the report.
The latest report comes just a few days after it was claimed that Arsenal have already made an offer to sign Asensio.

It is a surprise to see Asensio potentially leave this summer. Obviously, his contract situation means that Carlo Ancelotti’s men have little choice. However, he has already enjoyed his best campaign.
He has scored eight times in the top-flight. Only Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior have found the back of the net more often for Real this season.
He has been described as a ‘world-class‘ player. And Madrid agreed when he signed his current contract.
Tottenham have put together a devastating group of attacking players. And they now look to be in pole position to make the Champions League next year.
Signing Asensio would be a real statement of intent. It is not clear yet whether they want him. But there are likely to be plenty of Tottenham fans hoping that they can make a move.
