Report: Tottenham not confident of finding English buyer for Danny Rose

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly not confident of finding a buyer in England for full-back Danny Rose – but the player is open to a move abroad.

that the north London club believe it will be tough to find a new Premier League club for Rose, who is out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

The report comes amid Rose featuring in the next set of episodes in Tottenham’s All or Nothing docuseries on Amazon Prime.

Rose was trending on Twitter on Monday for being shown having a heated discussion with Mourinho regarding his lack of game time.

The scenes were filmed before Rose was granted a loan move to Newcastle United in January.

It is thought the Magpies will not be moving for Rose on a permanent basis.

TBR’s View – Inter or Lazio?

Italian clubs Inter Milan and Lazio have both been reported to have interest in Rose, although the former moved for Ashley Young in January.

Perhaps it would be worth it for Spurs to contact Lazio, as it’s hard to see how Rose will play regularly with Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon both in the picture.

Spurs don’t need a situation where a player is unhappy, so they need to work hard to try and find a willing buyer to take the player off their hands and also wage bill, with Rose on £60,000-a-week ().
