Tottenham Hotspur were nಌot willing to meet Danny Ings🌜’ contract expectations, which has caused them to miss out on the striker to Aston Villa, .

Salary too much

Villa announced the s🥀igning of Ings yesterday, which came completely ✤out of the blue.

Ings had previously been tipped to be Tottenham’s main strike ta🐎rget this summer, and the Telegraph report that Nuno’s side did have a ‘strong interest’ in the striker.

However, they were𝄹 not prepared to♍ pay his wage demands and missed out.

It🔯 has been claimed that Villa ꦉare paying Ings a contract worth £120,000-a-week, which has helped convince him to sign from Southampton.

Impact for Spurs and Villa

The addition of Ings looks like a great signing fಌor Dean Smith’s side, and should help to soften the blow of Jack Grealish’s departure somewhat.

ღTottenham, meanwhile, are likely to have to look at other potential strike targets𒐪, as they look to bolster their forward ranks.

Spurs will, of course, ideally like to keep hold of Harry Kane – but if he is to depart then Spurs may have to bring in two new number nines this❀ summer.
