Report: Tottenham keen on AC Milan-owned striker Andre Silva
It appears that Krzysztof Piatek is not the only player on AC Milan’s books Tottenham Hotspur are interested in this month, that Jose Mourinho is also looking at Andre Silva.
It would be a surprise to see Spurs let the January window close without bringing a new striker in with Harry Kane sidelined due to injury.

that Mourinho is keen on Piatek, but would prefer a loan move. The Rossoneri however, want £30 million for the Poland international.
The report notes that Spurs have a number of alternative targets, including Silva.

Silva remains a Milan player, but he has only made one appearance for the club since the start of the 2018/19 season. Instead, he has been out on loan with Sevilla and Eintracht Frankfurt.
He moved to the Bundesliga after one league appearance for Milan this campaign. Interestingly, he played 61 minutes against Brescia before being replaced by Piatek.
TBR View – Silva would be an underwhelming signing
It remains to be seen how high on Tottenham’s wishlist Silva finds himself. But you could certainly understand if Spurs fans were underwhelmed by the links.
The Portuguese was fairly impressive in Spain last year, scoring nine La Liga goals. And he has bagged three goals in Germany.
However, the last of those goals came back in early October. So he would not arrive in the best form.
It should also be noted that Silva signed a two-year loan deal in the summer. So perhaps it may not be too easy to sort out another move this month.
It seems surprising to see Silva linked with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And plenty of the supporters may be hoping that there is little in the reported interest despite their need to get a striker in.
