The likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be monitoring him, while in Italy, AC Milan are keen.

But Spurs’ interest is new to the party as Jose Mourinho looks for a new central defender to add to his squad, potentially in January.

Kabak is thought to be valued at around the £25m mark by Schalke, per the . However, the player is said to be in favour of a move to the Premier League if possible, meaning Spurs may be hopeful of a deal.

You can just see already this one is going to come down to who pays most, both in the fee and wages. Kabak will probably end up moving at the last second, as the report from Sky eludes to.

But, Kabak is a promising young defender and with so many clubs in the hunt for his signature, he can’t be a bad player at all.

Spurs are right to be interested here, but whether they have enough to tempt him to the club remains to be seen.
