Report: Tottenham join Arsenal in the pursuit of Jerome Boateng
Tottenham have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race for Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
, Arsenal are interested in the 31-year-old and he wants to leave the German giants in January.
It is understood that Bayern would be willing to let him exit for around £12.8million.
But has now claimed that Spurs and Juventus are also chasing the centre-back.
It is explained that Spurs and Juventus are “better situatedto wrap up a deal for Boateng than Arsenal.
Boateng is an experienced defender that has played 301 games for Bayern and won 18 pieces of silverware with them, but it looks like his days at the Allianz Arena are numbered.

TBR’s View:
Boateng is an intriguing target for teams in the Premier League and it would be interesting to see if he’s got the quality to make an immediate impact this season.
He was on his day a brilliant defender that read the game well and was calm in possession, which also helped him win the World Cup with Germany in 2014.
There has been a slight decline in the level of his performances recently, but he’s still played in 15 games across all competitions this season and helped Bayern qualify for the last-16 of the Champions League from a group that also included Spurs.
Jose Mourinho could perhaps do with another centre-back option if he wants to use three at the back more often.
