Report: Tottenham interested in Burnley forward Maxwel Cornet
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Maxwel Cornet this summer, that Antonio Conte is an admirer of the Burnley forward.
Cornet looks set to be one of the players likely to make a swift exit from Turf Moor. Of course, the Clarets ended up getting relegated on the final day of the Premier League season.

The Ivorian ended up enjoying a brilliant first year in England. He scored nine goals in 26 games for Burnley, with his latest coming in Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle. The goal gave Mike Jackson’s side a lifeline.
But ultimately, it was not enough. And with that, plenty of sides are likely to make a move for Cornet this summer.

And one of those could be Tottenham. that Conte is an admirer of the 25-year-old. And the report claims that he is available for just £15 million due to a relegation release clause.
Tottenham interested in Maxwel Cornet
Tottenham have been linked with some exciting strikers ahead of their Champions League return. Reports on Monday suggested that Gabriel Jesus is now aware that Spurs want him.
Cornet is not necessarily the marquee name that some fans will have been hoping for. But he ticks a lot of boxes for Conte.
He has predominantly played up front for Burnley. But he has spent much of his career playing in wide areas. So he would also provide cover for the likes of Dejan Kulusevski as well as those in deeper positions. He has a lot of experience in the wing-back roles.
So he may definitely be a striker option for Tottenham. But do not be surprised if Conte has other ideas should he manage to bring the ‘‘ forward to North London this summer.
