Report: Tottenham Hotspur line up Domagoj Vida move amid Toby Alderweireld uncertainty
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida, .
Mauricio Pochettino might be needing a new central defender in the summer and he has identified Vida as a potential target.
The 71-cap Croatia international was in high demand last summer after helping his country reach the World Cup final, knocking England out on their way.
But he remained at Besiktas, where he had been since his move from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2018. He has played over 50 games for Besiktas and also has experience in Germany and Croatia.

Tottenham are now mulling over their options for the summer and Vida might be on their wishlist. Cash-strapped Besiktas might even sanction a cut-price move for the 29-year-old due to Financial Fair Play regulations.
This news emerges amid growing uncertainty surrounding the future of Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian centre-back has a bargain £25m release clause with Arsenal among the clubs interested in him, .
If Alderweireld leaves, Pochettino will be left with Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth and Jan Vertonghen in central defence.
But Vida could be set for a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to strengthen the North London club’s options at centre-half.
