Report: Tottenham have now bid £25m and Rodon to sign ‘incredible’ player

Tottenham have reportedly made an offer to Roma to try and sign Nicolo Zaniolo.

According to , Spurs have come forward with a cash-plus-player bid of £25m plus Joe Rodon.

However, Roma have reportedly rejected the Tottenham offer, as they only want cash.

Signing Zaniolo would certainly be the icing on the cake for Tottenham.

He is an amazing talent. And his career looks to be back on track after a couple of devastating injuries.

Fabio Paratici has been in Italy over the past few days to try and find solutions for some of Tottenham’s fringe players.

While there, the Tottenham director reportedly planned to discuss the futures of Japhet Tanganga, Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele.

However, reported that Paratici may have also made an attempt to discuss a potential move for Zaniolo.

Now, based on the latest reports, this could well have been the case, hence an initial Spurs offer.

While Roma have reportedly rejected it, there could well be further discussions and offers in pursuit of a compromise that makes both parties happy.

Conte would certainly be over the moon if Paratici managed to make progress on a move for Zaniolo.

Zaniolo, 23, looks to have an ‘‘ career ahead.

“He has an incredible natural physique for someone who is only 19 and also has great technical quality,” Daniele De Rossi in 2019.

“In my opinion, as perhaps with everyone now, he is already a very good player – and can become a great one.”

Spurs could yet finish off their already superb summer transfer business with an outstanding cherry on top in Zaniolo.
