Report: Tottenham fully focused on signing striker; Diallo a legitimate option
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly focusing their efforts on landing a backup for Harry Kane, with Habib Diallo an possible option for the club.
the north Londoners remain very much keen on the Metz striker, who apparently fits in with the ‘strong character’ profile of transfers this summer.
Spurs had been linked with a move for Callum Wilson, but football.london suggest Tottenham went cold on the England international and due to reservations about his injury history.

Links to Arek Milik, Diego Costa and Chris Wood are said to be ‘wide of the mark’.
Senegal international Diallo caught the eye last term after scoring 12 goals in 27 games, and his overall record for Metz now reads 48 goals in 112 games.
The star, who wore the captain’s armband on several occasions throughout 2019/20, has two years remaining on his contract.
TBR’s View – Diallo a gamble worth taking
Diallo would represent something of a risk for Tottenham, but there’s a good chance he could come considerably cheaper than Wilson, who seems to be Newcastle United-bound ().

At the moment Tottenham have reached their quota for signing foreign players so Jose Mourinho needs to sell someone if really wants Diallo in.
He could do a decent job as Kane’s backup and is the physical type Mourinho has always enjoyed using down the years.
