Report: Tottenham eyeing January move for ‘incredible’ midfielder likened to De Jong

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus over the summer months.

claimed in August that Spurs were ‘optimistic�?of pulling off a move for the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, claimed Tottenham had sent scouts out to see Kudus in action for Ajax.

Spurs were up against Everton in the race for the Black Stars international.

But in the end, both Tottenham and the Toffees missed out, as Kudus stayed put at the Eredivisie giants.

Now, BILD has linked Kudus with Tottenham once again, ahead of the January transfer window.

The German outlet �?via the Liverpool Echo �?claims Spurs could be up against Everton and Borussia Dortmund for the playmaker.

The article also indicates that Kudus might be available for as little as �?0million (around £8.7million).

Can Spurs land “incredible talent�?

It’s no surprise that Spurs are apparently still eyeing Kudus.

He’s a top talent who has enjoyed a superb start to the season.

This season, Kudus has eight goals and one assist from 12 outings in all competitions.

The midfielder has also scored in each of his side’s three Champions League games so far this season.

Kudus �?who cost Ajax £8.1million �?has also won 16 caps for Ghana and has scored five goals.

Predominantly a central midfielder, he can fill in pretty much anywhere between the number six and ten positions.
