Report: Tottenham could land a PSG player on a free this summer
that Tottenham Hotspur will consider a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier this summer, if they fail to bring Norwich City’s young English defender Max Aarons to the club.
that Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Aarons, who is rated at £30million – as Norwich star continues to impress following the Canaries’ promotion to the Premier League.
Plenty of Premier League clubs are also rivalling the north London clubs, including Everton and West Ham United. Spurs have a good chance of landing Aarons but if they fail to nab his signature, they do have a plan B.
Indeed, that plan B is Belgium international and PSG defender Meunier. The 28-year-old right-back remains first choice at PSG, clocking up 24 outings in all competitions – but he is out of contract at the end of the season.

TBR’s view – Meunier would be a stunning signing for Tottenham
Given Daniel Levy is tight with the Tottenham coffers, solving a problem issue with a free transfer would be stunning business – and Meunier would certainly do that. A two-time Ligue 1 champion, Meunier has huge experience.
He boasts a winning mentality that comes with dominating French football and going close in the Champions League over the last few years. Meunier has also scored 13 goals, and created 21 in 125 outings for PSG.
He produces an assist almost once every five matches, which is stunning for a right-back and would slot right into Tottenham’s style. Spurs should really consider Meunier instead of Aarons, instead of Meunier as a plan B.
