Report: Tottenham could allow Jack Clarke out on loan in January

According to the , Tottenham could be willing to let Jack Clarke leave in January, with the youngster failing to have much impact this season.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is hoping to do some business in the winter window, with eyes firmly focused on the likes of Dele Alli in terms of outgoings, and Marcel Sabitzer in terms of incomings.

However, the claims that Clarke could be another on the list of players due to leave. The report states that Spurs could allow Clarke out on loan, despite opting to keep him in the summer.

Clarke, 20, signed for the north London club back in the summer of 2019 before immediately returning to Leeds. It was believed Spurs paid around £10m for his services. ().

But with little to no game time under his belt this term, Clarke could well seize the chance to get out on loan in January and get some first-team football under his belt.

There’s little point in the young winger sitting around at Spurs and not playing, especially if he can get a move in the winter and get some minutes under his belt.

Jose Mourinho clearly likes him and sees some potential in him but to harness that potential, Clarke needs games.

A move to the Championship would be hugely beneficial at this stage and you’d assume there’d be plenty of second tier clubs willing to take a punt on the youngster come January.
