Report: Tottenham consider move for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Julian Brandt
Tottenham are reportedly interested in Bayer Leverkusen attacker Julian Brandt.
, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is weighing up a potential move for him this summer.
It’s understood that the Germany international has a £21.5million release clause in his contract with Bundesliga outfit Leverkusen.
The report details that he could help fill a creative void if the North London club lose Christian Eriksen, as he enters the final year of his contract.
Brandt is a dazzling attacker that can play as a left-winger or in the number 10 role behind the striker.
He’s made 42 appearances across all competitions this season for Leverkusen, scoring nine goals and supplying a remarkable 17 assists in return.

TBR’s View:
Brandt is an exciting talent lighting up the Bundesliga and he’s starting to reach his full potential.
The 23-year-old has now played 214 senior games for Leverkusen already, with experience of playing in the Champions League and the World Cup too with Germany.
His £21.5million release clause makes him a potential bargain and he would add even more firepower to their frontline if he joined.
Pochettino should definitely press ahead with a potential swoop for the Bundesliga assist machine and Spurs are an attractive outfit after reaching the Champions League final, where they face off against Liverpool at the start of June.
