Report: Tottenham can land defensive target for £25m this summer

Tottenham have learned that Lyon defender Joachim Andersen, who is currently out on loan at Fulham, could be available for a bargain price in the summer.

Spurs have been linked with the 24-year-old recently, and new reports have shed light on his price tag.

, Spurs, Manchester United and Leicester City are a trio of clubs that are eyeing a potential summer swoop for him.

The report explains that French club Lyon are expected to agree any bids of around £25million for the centre-back if they arrive at the end of the season.

It is added that one Premier League club has made a “serious enquiry” for him.

Andersen’s form this year for Premier League strugglers Fulham has been admirable, as he’s one of their standout performers in their fight against relegation.

The Denmark international is a classy ball-playing centre-half that is composed in possession and a modern defender, but at the same time he’s an authoritative figure with his leadership.

TBR’s View:

Spurs already have one brilliant Denmark international in their group with brilliant midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, so perhaps the club should give him a nudge to chat with the loaned-out Lyon defender.

Andersen has slotted into the style of English football really well at Fulham, and aged 24 he’s got so much potential.

Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are in desperate need of a strong centre-back signing this summer, with the current Fulham ace ticking a lot of boxes.
