Report: Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham and Aston Villa offered 31-year-old

that Arsenal are not the only Premier League side to have been offered Gini Wijnaldum in January – with Tottenham, Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester also given the chance to sign him.

The 31-year-old star is seemingly keen on a near-immediate exit from PSG – having only joined the club on a free transfer from Liverpool in the summer. He has clocked up 20 appearances so far.

But the ex-Newcastle man has only started 10 of those games, completing an entire match just four times. It is a stark contrast to his Liverpool game time, which was regular and constant.

Newcastle and Everton have been linked with a move for the 85-time Netherlands star. But the report also states that Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa, Leicester and Arsenal have all been offered the midfielder.

Tottenham, Villa, West Ham, Arsenal: Which is best for Wijnaldum?

So, with Wijnaldum offered to seven Premier League sides – Newcastle, Everton and Leicester too, which suits him best? The clubs that can afford him include Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle and maybe Leicester.

Villa would be breaking their wage structure, Everton are struggling to abide by Financial Fairplay and West Ham are not known to spend that kind of cash. But on loan there is no doubt they could get him.

Wijnaldum will surely remain loyal to Liverpool – pushing aside Everton. He will want to be in Europe, too. So, Leicester and Spurs might be ideal. Newcastle could pull at his heartstrings.

Jurgen Klopp gave some insight as to what he is like “Gini is very strong and opinionated, but his motivation is only to help the team – always.”
