Report: Tottenham and AC Milan restart talks over Japhet Tanganga loan
Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan will restart talks over a move for Japhet Tanganga today, with reporting that the two clubs need to agree what kind of loan deal sees the defender move to San Siro.
Tanganga has been expected to move to Milan for some time now. Previous reports claimed that the 23-year-old had rejected moves to Premier League clubs in favour of joining the Rossoneri.
It may surprise some however, that Tanganga currently remains a Spurs player. And some sides may wonder if it could still be possible to make a last-ditch bid.
that Everton and Newcastle remain admirers of Tanganga. But it seems that the pair may indeed still be set for disappointment.
According to the report, talks will restart again today. The stumbling block holding up the deal seems to be what kind of loan will be agreed.
Tottenham want Milan to agree to an obligation to buy for at least £17 million. Meanwhile, the Serie A champions only want an option included as part of the deal.

Tottenham meanwhile, will have targets of their own for the final weeks of the window. So knowing that Tanganga is leaving, and that they will receive a £17 million fee, will help Fabio Paratici negotiate for their other targets.
Obviously, Everton and Newcastle will hope that there is a late twist. He is an ‘‘ prospect. And he would be a very good signing for a number of Premier League sides.
But it does seem that Spurs and Milan remain determined to agree terms.
