Report: Title-winners Besiktas set to battle Rangers in pursuit of free agent Salih Ozcan this summer
Reports emerged earlier this week that Rangers are looking to bring Koln midfielder Salih Ozcan to Ibrox. His contract expires at the end of June and it appears that deal will not be extended. However, Rangers will now face pretty hefty competition in the form of SuperLig winners Besiktas.
Ozcan, 23, impressed for Koln in the German Bundesliga during the 2020-21 campaign �playing in 28 of Koln’s 34 league outings. It comes after he went on loan to second-tier outfit Holstein Kiel and had a hand in 12 goals last season. Now, the central midfielder has another decision to make.
