That comes on the back of reports earlier this month that Shackleton could yet be sold by Leeds this summer, in the print edition of the .
The Athletic appeared to suggest that Leeds are considering a loan deal, and it remains to be seen whether second tier clubs can afford him.

Last season, Shackleton was described as ‘fantastic‘ and ‘brilliant‘ by fellow midfielder Adam Forshaw, but he struggled for gametime.
