Report: Three Championship clubs enter race for Tottenham’s Jack Clarke
Tottenham attacker Jack Clarke has reportedly received interest from three more Championship teams this January.
The 19-year-old has seen his loan with Leeds United cut short due to a lack of minutes and he’s returned to Spurs as a result.
But manager Jose Mourinho confirmed () that the North London club are looking to send the winger out on another loan for the second half of the seaosn.
The previously reported in its print addition (1 January, Page 67) that Preston and Millwall were eyeing loan deals for Clarke.
now reports that the English trio of Nottingham Forest, Derby and Middlesbrough have also asked about the teenager.
There is a huge demand for the English dazzler during this month’s January window and the report details a decisions is expected this week.

TBR’s View:
Spurs paid £10million () to sign Clarke in the summer from Leeds, but he returned to Elland Road immediately on loan.
It’s been a good decision to end his Leeds loan early after just three appearances this season, but the fact so many teams in the Championship want him is a big positive.
Spurs need to ensure that the next destination for Clarke is one that he can play regularly and try live up to his potential, as for now he’s a long way off the first-team plans.
