Report: ‘Talismanic’ star is keen on joining Spurs, but his agent wants to take him to Barcelona
Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Adama Traore in recent weeks.
Indeed, Spurs appear to have made a lot of progress towards signing the Wolves ace.
reported on Tuesday afternoon that Spurs were closing in on a £20m deal for Traore.
Spurs reportedly had a bid of £15m rejected last week. Wolves apparently value Traore £25m.
The report claimed there was an expectation a compromise fee could be reached by Monday’s transfer deadline.
However, Tottenham could face late competition from Barcelona for Traore’s services.
Several reports from Spain have linked the Molineux man with the Camp Nou.

However, this evening’s reports are worrying to say the least.
Traore, a player who peers and journalists have previously called ““, “” and ““, is a key target for Tottenham.
It would be great to see how Conte can turn him into a world-class wing-back as he did with Achraf Hakimi.
But with Barca now in the picture and Mendes reportedly pushing for his client to join them, things could get tense for Spurs fans.
