Report: Swansea may ask for Spurs target Joe Rodon back on loan
Swansea City could ask for Joe Rodon to return on loan should Tottenham Hotspur meet their asking price for the centre-back, .
Spurs are looking to bolster their defensive options before next Friday’s deadline. And according to The Guardian, they are favourites to land the £18 million-rated 22-year-old, who is also on West Ham United’s radar.

The report notes that Tottenham are expected to ramp up their efforts to sign Rodon in the next few days.
But it would appear that meeting Swansea’s asking price is not the only condition the Swans may have.

, Steve Cooper’s men could ask for Rodon to stay at the Liberty Stadium on loan for the rest of the campaign.
TBR View: Spurs surely unlikely to have problem with loan demand
It is difficult to see Tottenham denying Swansea’s potential request to keep Rodon on loan. He looks set to be one for the future in North London.
However, he may develop further in the short-term by playing regularly for the Swans. Cooper is an excellent coach, particularly of younger players.
And if that condition is all that stands between Spurs and a deal for the Wales international, it seems unlikely that Jose Mourinho will have many qualms about sanctioning a loan.
