Report: Sunderland want Leeds United talent Robbie Gotts
Sunderland are hoping to complete a deal to sign Leeds United midfielder Robbie Gotts before the EFL deadline on the 16th October,
A number of clubs are interested in the player who can play in midfield or operate as a right-back.
Football League clubs are able to complete loan deals for Premier League players until the 16th and Sunderland are keen to pounce.

Gotts is thought to have been on Sunderland’s shortlist of targets for a while, although several other clubs hope to sign him too.
Huddersfield Town, Hull City and Swindon are all keen on securing the services of a player tipped for a big future by Leeds.
Gotts made two appearances last season as the Whites won the Championship at a canter.
He was also involved as Leeds were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Hull City on penalties last month.
The 20-year-old is a product of the youth academy at Leeds and a loan move will probably do his development the world of good.
Gotts has probably outgrown under-23 football having featured regularly in Carlos Corberan’s team last season.
With that in mind, a loan move would do him the world of good and Sunderland looks an attractive proposition.

Phil Parkinson has a decent track record of nurturing young talent and heading to the Stadium of Light might be a decent move for Gotts.
The Black Cats have made a strong start to their 2020/21 campaign, winning two and drawing two of their opening four matches.
Parkinson is keen to bolster his squad further though and the versatility of Gotts could make him a very shrewd signing indeed.
