Report suggests Liverpool will have received ‘feedback’ on Jadon Sancho but no deal likely

The future of Jadon Sancho will be one of the big topics of a largely subdued transfer window this summer but one team that will not be going after him is Liverpool, according to reports.

When it first became apparent that Sancho was looking for a return to the Premier League, Liverpool were one of the first names mentioned as potentially having an interest. 

Jurgen Klopp’s past relationship with Sancho’s club Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool’s position as Europe’s best team made it a no-brainer connection. 

However,, it is unlikely to happen. 

They claim that, undoubtedly, Liverpool have been ‘getting feedback’ regarding a move away from Germany in the summer despite Klopp’s denials.

Klopp is a huge admirer of Sancho. that the winger is an exceptional talent.


“An exceptional talent. But he’s not the only one in England at the moment.

“There’s a lot of very young, promising players in England so there’s no doubt about the potential of Jadon Sancho.”


However, no deal is likely, as is the case with all potential Liverpool incomings. 

Liverpool have shelved plans to sign their two main transfer targets Timo Werner and Houssem Aouar of RB Leipzig and Lyon respectively this summer amid the current global health crisis.
