Report: Spurs want Fulham loanee Joachim Andersen
Joachim Anderson is one of the names on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar heading into the summer, .
The heart of the defence has been one of the problematic areas for Jose Mourinho to deal with this term. He has, so far, been unable to really settle on one partnership for the large majority of his tenure.

, signing a new defender is a priority for Spurs at the end of the campaign. And it is claimed that they have a number of names on their list.
One of those mentioned is Andersen. The 24-year-old has been a revelation since joining Fulham on loan in the summer.
He has often captained Scott Parker’s side. And according to the report, Fulham will be keen to make the Dane’s move permanent should they manage to stay up.

Football London does note that he will not come cheap. His contract with Lyon expires in 2024. He became their record signing when he joined in a £25 million deal in 2019 (via ).
The report also suggests that the likes of Lewis Dunk and Nikola Milenkovic are being considered by Tottenham.

Fulham have improved significantly defensively since Andersen’s debut in November. It was in that game that they secured their first win of the campaign.
He is confident in possession and he offers a threat at the other end of the pitch.
Spurs fans may have their concerns given that they are looking at another player involved in a relegation scrap after signing the likes of Moussa Sissoko and Ryan Sessegnon in the past.
But Andersen – who Mauricio Pochettino wanted back in 2019 (via ) – definitely looks to have serious amount of ability heading into what could be the peak years of his career.
