Houssem Aouar would be an incredibly exciting signing for Spurs or Arsenal

Aouar is still perfecting his game. He turns 23 next week, so he would still be a work in progress for either side.

However, there is no question that he would be an incredibly exciting signing for either.

Pep Guardiola previously described Aouar as .

So for £25 million, it is hard to see why either club would not make their move during the coming weeks.

He has an amazing ability to glide past players, particularly when he gets up to something like full speed. But he also has the composure to get out of tight situations with a piece of magic.

Could 22-year-old help bring best out of Tanguy Ndombele?

Of course, one of the main challenges Tottenham’s next manager will set themselves is to get the best out of Tanguy Ndombele.

On his day, the Frenchman is unplayable. However, he has not stolen the show anywhere near enough during his time in the capital.

Signing Aouar however, may perhaps help bring the best out of the Ndombele.

, they played together 85 times at various age groups for club and country.

So perhaps bringing Aouar in could prove a masterstroke on various levels.
