Report: Spurs set to make Kim Min-jae bid

Tottenham Hotspur hope to steal a march on Chelsea with a bid for Kim Min-jae, that the defender could be on the move in the near future.

Spurs boast plenty of depth at the heart of their defence. Joe Rodon arrived in the summer. And Jose Mourinho looks to have got Eric Dier’s career back on track in recent months.

But it appears that Tottenham want to increase their options further. According to the Mirror, they want to make a bid for the 24-year-old.

It is claimed that Chelsea joining the race has acted as a catalyst that has inspired Spurs to prepare their offer for the South Korea international.

that Beijing Guoan are looking to cash-in with his contract set to expire at the end of the calendar year.

It remains to be seen what fee it will take to land Kim. But perhaps, it would be fair to assume that he would be tempted to make the move to North London.

Son Heung-min has become one of the world’s best during his time in the Premier League.

So Kim will surely take encouragement from his countryman’s development if the chance to join Tottenham presents itself during this window. It may be the ace up their sleeve if Kim has more than one option on the table.
