Report: Spurs observing Andrea Belotti as Zenit bid

Whether Kane stays or not, Spurs will be looking to bolster their attacking ranks.

Belotti has been offered a new deal by Torino worth around £66,000-a-week. But he is yet to make a decision.

Interestingly, despite Spurs’ interest, the Serie A side have only received one bid for the Italy international.

That offer has come from Zenit, who are willing to pay £25.6 million for the forward.

Belotti could be a smart signing for Spurs, but Tottenham right to bide their time

Belotti has been a very good performer for Torino. He has scored 92 goals in 210 top flight games for Il Toro.

He is a hard-worker capable of playing as the main man or as a second striker. So he obviously ticks a lot of the boxes for Nuno.

Having said that, he has not scored more than 16 league goals across any of the last four seasons. So you can also understand why Spurs may be biding their time.

Dusan Vlahovic looks to be an incredibly exciting target. And someone like Danny Ings is proven in the Premier League.

If Spurs can get the best out of Belotti, he could be an amazing signing. But it does appear that he may not be the name at the top of the Tottenham wishlist as things stand.
