Report: Spurs have joined the race for Arsenal-linked Renato Sanches
Spurs have now joined the race to sign Portugal and Lille midfielder Renato Sanches, with a number of other clubs also circling.
Sanches enjoyed a fine season with Lille last year. He helped the French side to beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title, and then went on to enjoy a fine Euro 2020 tournament with Portugal.
t now claim that Spurs are keen on Sanches. The Londoners and Barcelona are mentioned in the report.

Any move by Spurs would see them beat the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal to a deal for Sanches. The Gunners have been linked as recently two weeks ago, while Liverpool are also on the midfielder.
Sanches was previously seen on English shores during a loan spell with Swansea City. Since then, he’s been with Bayern Munich, before excelling at Lille.
Spurs are looking at new faces this summer. New transfer supremo, Fabio Paratici, has drawn up a big list of potential signings. Sanches, then, could be one he looks to pursue.
Sanches perfect but a tough deal
Renato Sanches has proven he can handle the pressure of top level football and Spurs would be a better team with him in there.
The club are desperate for new signings. The midfield needs strengthening, while Harry Kane’s future up top is up in the air.
Landing a player like Sanches would no doubt go down very well. Pierre Hojbjerg is the main man in the middle. However, pairing him with a ball carrier like Sanches could have a huge impact on the team.
