Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son and Steven Brewing could both be back in time to play against Chelsea, .

Double boost

Son and Bergwijn both missed out on playing for Tottenham against Crystal Palace due to injury and they were badly missed.

Spurs crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Selhurst Park, with their attack looking surprisingly blunt.

The two players both picked up knocks over the international break, and the severity of their problems is yet to be officially confirmed by Tottenham.

But the Standard’s report suggests that their issues may not be serious.

They say that there is increased optimism that they duo could be back in time to face Chelsea at the weekend, in what looks like a major boost for Nuno’s men.

A tough test

Even with a fully fit squad beating Chelsea could be a tough challenge though.

Spurs were outplayed by the Blues in a pre-season friendly, and Thomas Tuchel’s men have since added Romelu Lukaku.

Tottenham are still only one point behind Chelsea though, even after defeat at Palace, and a win on Sunday would seriously lift the mood around the North London club again.
